Ella Zalkind practices corporate, commercial and real estate law. Ms. Zalkind represents a broad range of clients across a wide spectrum of industries that include corporations/limited liability companies; funds, private equity firms, financial services, providers of retail and wholesale goods, physicians, dentists, pharmacies and other healthcare providers, among other industries and organizations. Ms. Zalkind’s practice focuses on advising businesses and individuals on a wide range of transactional and day-to- day legal matters. Ms. Zalkind also represents buyers, sellers, banks, lenders and other financial institutions in residential and commercial real estate and finance transactions. Ms. Zalkind represents international clients who are looking to invest and establish a presence in the United States, as well as serves as general counsel to a number of international companies doing business in the United States and overseas. Ms. Zalkind has over 17 years of legal experience and has structured and worked on a multitude of business and real estate transactions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships as well as purchases and sales of businesses. Ms. Zalkind has worked at prominent New York City law firms where she gained extensive experience and exposure to sophisticated corporate and real estate transactions. Ms. Zalkind’s background enables her to apply practical knowledge and experience to complicated legal issues for all types of clients. Ms. Zalkind graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, magna cum laude, and was a member of the Law Review and received a B.S. from Cornell University. Ms. Zalkind is also an active member of the not-for-profit world. Ms. Zalkind currently serves on the Board of Trustees at the Shorefront YM-YWHA of Brighton-Manhattan Beach, a network agency of the UJA-Federation and Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Hebrew Language Academy Charter School in Brooklyn, New York. Ms. Zalkind is fluent in Russian.
